Do I need to take the Executive Assessment?
If you are applying to an Executive MBA program, you probably need to take the EA. It is best to confirm whether you have to take the EA on the admissions website of your chosen EMBA program. All the details, including the possibility of getting a waiver or exemption, will be provided on the program’s website.
Are there any practice tests so I can know my score before I commit to a course?
Currently there are no free practice tests available for the EA that will generate a diagnostic score. One option is to purchase 2 tests from GMAC for $70, take them under test conditions, and see what score you get. However, it is better to buy the $100 because it includes all the tools you need for your Executive Assessment preparation.
Should I take the Executive Assessment or GMAT?
If you are only applying to Executive MBA programs, you should probably take the EA rather than the GMAT. Executive Assessment preparation is much easier than GMAT preparation. In addition, the EA is easier, requires less study time, and is often accepted even if not listed by the program. Be sure to initiate a dialogue with the admissions officers at your chosen EMBA program and they’ll let you know the inside info.
Is there any practice material for the EA?
Currently, the only official practice material available for Executive Assessment preparation is from GMAC here. We recommend purchasing the $100 package that includes 2 practice tests and 300 practice questions. We provide this package to our students as part of the course.
