The Most Comprehensive EA Course Available

Your Executive Assessment Prep Course covers all 3 sections of the Executive Assessment, alternating between Quantitative and Verbal Sections to ensure your score increases in a steady and balanced way.

Lesson 0: Introduction to the EA and the Course

Get a comprehensive overview of the Executive Assessment so you know what you’re up against. We’ll also explain how the course is structured, the study resources you have available, and how to best utilize these resources to maximize your EA score while minimizing your time commitment.

Lesson 1: Arithmetic

Jump right into the Quantitative Section with: Properties of Integers, Real Numbers, Powers and Roots of Numbers. There’s a quick review of the basic approach to each concept area with sample EA style questions.

Lesson 2: FDP

Fractions, Decimals, and Percents will give you another opportunity to hone your mental math and hand calculations, which are so crucial to the Executive Assessment Quantitative Reasoning Section. Lessons 1 and 2 are the only back-to-back quant lessons in the Prep Executive course, allowing you to get familiar with the entire exam faster.

Lesson 3: Sentence Correction

Get a review of grammar specifically as it is tested on the Executive Assessment. You don’t need to be a grammarian to score well on the Verbal Reasoning, and we’ll teach you the major rules to know. Since it is also reasoning, you’ll master a tried and tested methodology for attacking Sentence Correction questions, even if you can’t remember the grammar.

Lesson 4: Algebra 1

Review and sharpen all your “school” algebra with a review of: Simplifying Algebraic Expressions, Equations, Solving Linear Equations with One Unknown, Inequalities, and Absolute Value. We’ll even show you a “math cheat” to use on algebra problems when you’re not sure where to start.

Lesson 5: Critical Reasoning

Learn and hone an approach to the trickiest Verbal Section question type: Critical Reasoning. Get into the mind of the test makers with the logic overview and analyze the types of Critical Reasoning questions. We break down the questions to build your understanding.

Lesson 6: Data Sufficiency

Have your first exposure to a Quantitative Section question type you’ve never seen before: Data Sufficiency. We’ll show you exactly how to tackle this complex math logic question (this approach is THE approach to master data sufficiency questions) and a modification to attack the confusing properties of integers data sufficiency questions.

Lesson 7: Reading Comprehension

End your review of Verbal Section questions with the type that should be the most familiar: reading comprehension. Gain an understanding of the types of passages, basic approach to reading comprehension passages, and learn to analyze the different types of questions.

Lesson 8: Word Problems

Understand all those pesky one-off quant questions in this “kitchen sink” review of Word Problems. We present a unique approach to each question type: Discount, Profit, Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Measurement, Rate, Mixture, Work, Descriptive Statistics, Sets, Data Interpretation, Counting Methods, and Discrete Probability.

Lesson 9: Integrate Reasoning 1

Dive into the other section of the Executive Assessment: Integrated Reasoning (IR). Now that you have started to build your verbal and quantitative skills on the other sections, we introduce two of the IR question types.

Lesson 10: Algebra 2

Get a second look at algebra with more complex concepts including: Solving Two Linear Equations with Two Unknowns, Solving Equations by Factoring, Solving Quadratic Equations, Exponents, and Functions.

Lesson 11: Integrated Reasoning 2

Learn about the remaining two IR question types. We’ll work lots of problems so you can get into the mind of the test maker and see the approaches taken by applicants that score well on the Executive Assessment.

Lesson 12: Putting It All Together

Get your final “pep talk” before the actual EA. We tell you what to study, how to practice, and next steps now that you have completed the course.

4 Bonus Strategy Mini-Lessons

Estimating

A quick primer on how to estimate quantitative solutions to reduce your calculation and test-taking time. Practice the technique with specific Executive Assessment style questions.

Backsolving

An excellent tool for your “quant toolkit.” If you aren’t using backsolving, you aren’t doing everything you can to increase your score. Learn and practice with this strategy mini-lesson.

Plugging In

A go-to strategy for algebra and data sufficiency questions. Learn how to do it correctly with this bonus mini-lesson, practice it on specially designed problems, and watch your EA score soar.

POE

The strategy practically guaranteed to boost your Executive Assessment Verbal Reasoning score. Most students “think” they know how to use it. We’ll show you the right way.

Meet Your Instructor

Eden June Michael

Eden is the Director of Education at Prep Executive. She started teaching SAT for one of the big three test prep companies in 2006 and immediately fell in love–it was a wonderful break from her 60 hour a week consulting job (seriously, that’s how much she loved teaching test prep). Within a year, Eden was offered jobs in the Middle East and Southeast Asia teaching MCAT, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS, and any other test she could analyze.

For more than 10 years, Eden has been traveling the world and teaching for some of the biggest names in test preparation. She has taught GMAT to EMBA applicants since Executive MBA programs began and the Executive Assessment since it was created.

When Eden isn’t teaching, she exercises her rational mind with logic puzzles, travels to far flung places, and dreams about taking a kayaking class (although she hasn’t taken one yet).
