General Questions

Do I get instant access?

Yes! Once you enroll, you’ll have instant access to the course videos and homework. You will receive a voucher code to access additional online resources in the GMAC official question bank 7 days after you enroll in the course.

How do I get access to the official EA question bank?

Approximately 7 days after you enroll in the course, we will purchase a voucher for the Official Practice Assessments (1&2) and Questions for $100 directly from GMAC on your behalf and send your unique voucher code to you. In addition, we will send you instructions on how to create your account, access the official platform, and start practicing in the question bank. The cost of this voucher is included in your course fee. We simply do it on your behalf to streamline the process for you.

Is there a free trial or free lesson available?

There’s no free trial but there is a 7 Day Money-Back Guarantee if you don’t like the program. We’ll make the first lesson available for free once we’ve completed our beta process.

What if I already purchased access to the official EA question bank?

If you have already purchased access from GMAC to the official EA question bank, email us and we will deduct the cost of the question bank from your course fee.

Are there options for coaching and help with applications?

There sure are. You can choose to only the course or add coaching and/or consulting when you enroll or later on. Learn more about the prep options available.

What’s covered in the course?

If you just launched, why do you already have testimonials?

Our Director of Education tested the Prep Executive program on students in person before developing it for online use. We have been teaching the test in person and through online tutoring only since 2016. We asked those students for feedback.

What’s covered in the course?

How many hours a week will I have to study?

We’ve streamlined the study process so you get lots of concepts in a minimum amount of time. We recommend studying about 2 hours, 5 times a week over 40 days. This study time includes the time it takes you to watch the lessons and complete the homework.

What if I get stuck on a lesson?

If it’s during Weekly Office Hours, hop on our chat and Ask-a-Coach. If not, send us an email with your question or write it down and ask during your coaching sessions. Have a technical issue? Close and reopen your browser. Still have problems? Email us to let us know.

Why the course more than 20 hours?

We designed the Executive Assessment course to be around 20 hours because there is a significant amount of material to be covered. For the Quantitative Section alone, there are 30 concept areas that need to be addressed. When we tested our program on real executives, we figured out what needed to be added to the course to help students score higher.

Where do the real EA questions and tests come from?

Official practice tests and an EA question bank are included directly from the EA test maker, GMAC. We buy the official EA prep bundle for you and send you a voucher code once the 7 day money-back guarantee period is over.

Are the question bank problems the same as the homework problems?

It depends. You will have more than 500 problems at your disposal from basic questions, realistic EA problems, and real EA questions and tests.

Within each course lesson, we have written realistic Executive Assessment problems to illustrate concepts and approaches.

At the end of each quantitative lesson, there is homework that consists of basic operational math problems (to check that you understand the numerical aspect) and EA style problems that we have written. Additional question sets are in the EA question bank for later in the course.

The homework at the end of each verbal and integrated reasoning lesson will come from the official EA sources.

How does this course compare to other Executive Assessment prep courses out there?

Where do the other questions used in the course and homework come from?

For the course and homework, we create “mirror problems” based on official Executive Assessment questions. For quant, in particular, there are not enough simple concept checking questions or EA style questions available to give you sufficient practice, so we write them ourselves. Our test prep writer is Eden June Michael, the EA prep course instructor who has more than 13 years of experience taking, analyzing, and teaching tests.

What is the Quant Foundations Course?

The Quant Foundations Course is a 5 lesson, 10 hour math foundations course that comes FREE with the Standard and Complete plans. It’s an extra set of lessons we’ve found are helpful for some students who previously struggled to learn math in school. It covers basic operations and algebra IN DETAIL.

After Lesson 1 in the Executive Assessment Prep Course, there is homework on the basic operations. If you are unsure where to begin or have problems completing the problems, take the Quant Foundations Course. You can restart the EA Prep Course when you’ve brushed up on your calculations.

The Quant Foundations Course includes:

Long addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Operations with fractions, decimals, and percents
Basic algebra

Will the Executive Assessment Prep Course be updated?

Definitely. We update the Executive Assessment Prep Course as we learn more about how to best teach students. We also add additional problem sets and improve the homework problems regularly. Your access includes all of the course updates.

If the course if so good, why do I need coaching?

The course is good, but you’ll have questions about some concepts based on your educational background and the length of time you have been out of school. Executive Assessment prep coaching sessions are excellent for providing a thorough, personalized explanation with concept checking questions to ensure you understand completely.

Prep Options, Pricing, and Payment

Can I upgrade my plan?

Sure. To upgrade your plan, just email us and we’ll change it for you and explain how to pay the difference.

Is this a one-time payment?

Yes, all of the plans are a one-time payment. We do not offer payment plans at this time.

Do you offer payment plans?

We do not offer payment plans at this time. We recommend enrolling in the lowest priced option, the Basic Plan, and then upgrading your package later if you find you need the Quant Foundations course, coaching, and longer course access.

What’s your refund policy?

With our 7 Day Money-Back Guarantee, you can cancel and receive a full refund within the first 7 days of enrolling.

After 7 days, you will not receive a refund on the course but can receive a refund on coaching and consulting if none of the sessions have been completed. Simply email us at info@prepexecutive.com to discuss options.

Are you really going to donate money to charity?

Yes! It is important to us that our company be socially responsible. We are excited to start a funding campaign with Room to Read because we believe in children’s literacy, gender equality, and a local approach to teaching and learning. Soon, Prep Executive will maintain its own official Room to Read Funding Page so you can track the contributions.

If the course if so good, why do I need coaching?

Who does the coaching?

Currently, all Executive Assessment prep coaching is done by your course instructor, Eden June Michael, the Director of Education. We want to ensure continuity of learning by having you work with the same instructor.

How long do I have to use the coaching?

For the Complete plan, there is no expiration date on the coaching. For the Standard plan, coaching sessions should be used within 1 year.

Can I get coaching or consulting separately?

We don’t currently offer coaching or consulting separately at this time. Based on our experience, you will waste money if you do the coaching without the course because many of the foundational concepts necessary to get value from the coaching are covered in the course. We may offer consulting separately in the future, but it will likely be at the current market rate for 1 school admissions consulting of $1,495.

Tell me more about the consulting.

Consulting includes EVERYTHING you need for 1 Executive MBA application including a candidate assessment, resume’ review and rebuild, essay editing, and interview preparation. Some EMBA programs also require you to do a presentation in front of a panel. We’ll edit your presentation as well.
